COACHING FAQ
-
Life transition coaching offers support during moments when life changes direction — a career shift, an empty nest, the end of a relationship, a relocation, or a quiet sense that something more is calling. Rather than giving advice, coaching creates a thoughtful space to slow down, notice what's emerging, and take grounded steps toward what comes next.
-
Therapy often focuses on healing the past, while coaching is oriented toward the present and future — clarifying values, shaping direction, and building momentum. Many clients find the two complementary. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment, and Colleen is happy to discuss whether coaching is the right fit for where you are.
-
Colleen works with people navigating pivotal turning points: entering a new chapter of life, seeking renewed purpose, empty nesting, loss of a partner or relationship, career or identity shifts, and relocation or real estate transitions. She also works with groups, partnerships, and organizations.
-
Each session is a dynamic conversation — a process of noticing, naming, and, when needed, interrupting the cycles that no longer serve you. Colleen acts as both mirror and guide: listening deeply, asking invitational questions, and reflecting back what you may not yet see for yourself. Together you'll clarify priorities, develop grounded next steps, and build accountability for real movement forward.

Every client's path is different. Some come with a specific transition to navigate over a few months; others build a longer-term coaching relationship as an ongoing source of reflection and support. You and Colleen will shape a rhythm and duration that fits your goals.
-
Colleen brings her coaching approach into shared spaces where dynamics, communication, and collective direction matter. She helps teams and partnerships navigate relational patterns, identify shared goals, foster accountability, and create space for more honest, productive dialogue.
-
If you're standing at a moment of transition — or feeling a quiet question surface, like is there something more here for me? — coaching may be a meaningful next step. The best way to find out is a conversation. There's no pressure and no obligation; just a chance to explore.
-
Coaching begins with a conversation. Reach out through the contact page with your area of interest, and Colleen will schedule an introductory call to explore whether working together is a good fit.
